In 2016, the Carolina Room and the May 20th Society, a local history organization, worked together to organize a display of documents relating to Mecklenburg's Revolutionary history. The documents themselves came from the Mecklenburg Declaration collection of the Southern Historical Collection, Wilson Library, UNC Chapel Hill.  The Wilson Library agreed to loan and the Bank of America Heritage Center agreed to display these documents for one day: May 20th, 2016.
