000003208 520__ $$aIn 1998 the Public Library of Charlotte Mecklenburg County (now Charlotte Mecklenburg Library) released "An African American Album v2" (AAA2) on CD-ROM. This title was a follow-up to the highly successful book "An African American Album" released in 1993. The CD-ROM took advantage of the newly available home computer market. AAA2 stopped working with the release of Windows XP, and no longer plays on modern computer systems. Therefore, this emulator of Windows 98 was created so that this valuable content was not lost.
