El proyecto Living Archives (www.livingarchivesclt.org) es una colaboración entre la Biblioteca de Charlotte Mecklenburg, el Museo Levine, la Universidad Johnson C Smith y el Centro Duke de Estudios Documentales. El proyecto tiene como objetivo capturar y preservar las historias de las comunidades marginadas en el condado de Mecklenburg a través de la pandemia de COVID-19. Estas comunidades rara vez se incluyen en los archivos tradicionales y este esfuerzo preservará esas historias para generaciones de investigadores y descendientes en el futuro.

The Living Archive Project (www.livingarchivesclt.org) is a collaboration between the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library, the Levine Museum, Johnson C Smith University and the Duke Center for Documentary Studies. The project aims to capture and preserve the stories of marginalized communities in Mecklenburg County through the COVID-19 pandemic. These communities are rarely included in traditional archives and this effort will preserve those stories for generations of researchers and descendants in the future.
